Meet Mary Grace Humphrey
I’m always glad to come to First Christian Church for several
reasons. Here I am part of a group of people who are serious
about our faith. We can ask questions, express doubts, get
affirmation as we try to live lives that are true to Jesus’ teachings.
A community of love and care surrounds me as we learn and practice what is preached and taught. No words of denial or statements of “you should” after doubts are stated, no “pat” answers given to our questions. And we enjoy sharing each other’s experiences and company.
But we don’t just talk. As a congregation, we feed the hungry, clothe the naked and visit the sick! So, I feel enriched and rewarded when I come to FCC.
